# World is One — brand assets

The original lotus seal is the approved World is One mark. Its fine circular borders and petals support the collection’s quiet, artistic and heritage character. The geometry is preserved from web/odia-lotus.svg. At the author’s request, the petals and both rings use laterite lines, warm straw accents add richness, and cream keeps the mark light. Sea blue belongs to the surrounding interface. The unmodified earlier lotus remains in web/odia-lotus.svg.

- `mark.svg`: full-colour symbol; preferably 44px or larger to retain the fine lines.
- `mark-mono.svg`: single-colour ink version.
- `wordmark.svg`: horizontal lockup; Georgia and Arial live text. Outline text in a design editor for exact professional reproduction.
- `favicon.svg`: icon on paper.
- `social-card.svg`: editable 1200 × 630 vector composition; export to PNG before uploading to services that require raster images.
- `palette.json`: shared colour values.

Keep a clear space of at least one tenth of the symbol’s diameter. Never stretch the symbol. Use ink or sea for body text on paper, laterite for accents and links, straw for decoration rather than small text. Original art, print editions and their colours remain unchanged.

Headlines: Georgia, normal weight. UI/body: system sans serif with native-script fallbacks. Use generous line height for Indian scripts. Backgrounds: paper or warm white. Keep textures subtle; one ornament per section at most.

Project asset reuse follows the reference/design terms in RIGHTS.md. Authored artwork and recordings retain their separately documented terms.

The heritage treatment retains the existing palm-leaf and lotus-inspired ornaments, subtle paper grain and wood-and-cloth art frames. The author supplied the tourism reference for colour only; destination imagery and tourist branding are outside this identity. Avoid animated backgrounds and visualizers over artwork.

## Colour specification

The public guide is `kb/guides/brand.md`; `palette.json` is the machine-readable colour reference. The interface values are implemented in `web/brand.css`, with frame materials in `web/art-frames.css`. Keep these references and this downloadable kit in step when changing the palette.

## Ornament placement

- `quiet-thread.svg`: one flowing gold thread at a story transition or poem ending.
- `ornaments/odia-border.svg`: small leaf detail below guide/directory headings, and the existing header/footer border.
- `ornaments/odia-manuscript.svg`: palm-leaf motif for poetry, with space reserved away from text.
- Paper grain, walnut, woven cloth and soft gallery light are CSS treatments; no artwork pixels are altered.
- Sea-blue listening surfaces use straw progress and light-gold active states.

Keep decoration non-interactive, still and outside the reading path. Do not add motifs inside form controls, timing tools or artwork. The original poem, adaptations, credits and collaboration guides share the same visual language without repeating every ornament on every page.
